What a beautiful day for a mayhem

Pol Rémy was the official supplier to “Champagnegaloppen” at Uppsala University 2012. Almost 30 000 bottles of Pol Rémy Brut was consumed in a few hours when students at Uppsala University celebrated that spring had arrived. The “Champagnegaloppen” event is an annual celebration in Uppsala arranged by the student organizations. We were on location at one of the origanizations, Snerikes Nation. New release: Stockholm WineLab Giftshop!

We just released a new function in our web shop. From now on we are in the business of selling branded glasses, t-shirts and cool stuff in addition to wine and vodka. First products out are the Crystal Head Vodka glasses in a luxurious gift pack for four. Also released is a cool t-shirt in an anti-fit style from Swedish clothing company Somewear, with a subtle yet screamy print developed by tattoo artist Jeppe at Tatueringsmaskinen / East Street Tattoo.

The hangout for hairy west coast bikers/ streetwear and bikeparts online store Valen Custom Shop in Varberg now have our cool Crystal Head Vodka t-shirts in stock, as the first retailer in Sweden.  the T’s are made by Somewear clothing and the print is designed by tattoo artist Jeppe at Tatueringsmaskinen. On April 2nd we had new products released at Systembolaget, and existing wines moving up in distribution reaching even more stores than before. If you´re in the market for a good bottle of red, this is what you should be looking for. And this is what it looks like in more than 200 Systembolaget stores, as the Italian wines Dragani Sangiovese and Santagostino Nero d’Avola-Syrah, the French wine Hälge Côtes du Rhône and the South African wine Bosman De Royan are all available in stores now.

New wines, more stores, bigger heads and a great comeback.

Today we release some new wines in the fixed assortment of Systembolaget. The Dragani Sangiovese from Terre di Chieti in Abruzzo, Italy is the perfect pasta wine with lots of soft, dark fruit.The Patriarche Bourgogne Rouge Cuvée Saint-Nicolas is a fantastic wine clad in a modest labelling – the wine is actually a declassified Beaune Premier Cru.

 

 

From now on, even more people can enjoy Hälge Côtes du Rhône. From April 2 the wine is sold in almost all Systembolaget shops in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö, and just like earlier in many of the small town shops in the more rural parts of Sweden. Also, the Sicilian classic Santagostino Nero d’Avola-Syrah makes an acclaimed return. After being sold in only a few stores it’s now back in full force, retailing at more than 200 Systembolaget stores all over Sweden.

 

 

 

Another great release is the Crystal Head Vodka Magnum bottle. A whopping 1,75L skull-shaped crystal bottle is the perfect gift for anyone that thinks bigger is better. The product is available in the Systembolaget ordering assortment, get it here.

Our new windows are (nearly) finished after about six hours of hard work.
One window is promoting our web shop and the growing assortment of fine wines. The middle window has a new Casa Rivas theme and the window closest to the entrance is devoted entirely to Crystal Head Vodka, with the notion that less is more.

 

No, we’re not closing

On the contrary, we are making room for new outstanding eye candy for the many pedestrians stopping by our shop windows. It’s time for something new, and it will be ready next week.
